Armida’s brick & mortar space may be no more — a stronghold for decades on Sonoma’s revered Rodeo Drive of the famed Westside Road — but the legacy in the bottle is as strong as ever! This is some straight-up Cali-magic from a handful of Dry Creek Valley’s TOP vineyards, infused with a healthy 10% of inky, wildly lush Petite Sirah.
Just like the ‘21, it simply *POPS* with pure and vibrant Zinfandel goodness, those spicy raspberries and blackberries, with a dusting of cocoa powder, and rooty, old-fashioned cola sensations, all with TONS of juicy, ripe, and simply mouthwatering fruit character. Cherries, blueberries, and those tart, flavorful, miniature plums, with sweet mission figs, and even a little burst of this floral, sort of tropical red note — is that rambutan? There’s balancing accents of cedar and candied violets, and this lingering element of graphite — all in this glorious, bright, and uber-fresh style of classic Cali-Zin!
